When Tristan went to Heaven, my husband and I committed to doing something in his name. We established a memorial fund for Tristan to send kids to Camp WinShape every summer. In addition, we printed thousands of orange Pay it Forward cards. The card asks you to pay for the car behind you in the drive-thru. After you’ve picked up the tab for the car behind you, ask the cashier to give them the orange Pay it Forward card so they can do the same for someone else.
P.S. It doesn’t HAVE to be used at a drive-thru. We’ve paid for the next person’s haircut, picked up the tab for someone at a restaurant, there are millions of ways to pay it forward and give someone something to smile about.
